Our Neighborhood

Our neighborhood location is perfect for experiencing Somerville & Cambridge just as we do. From the numerous squares that surround us to the incredible dining options waiting to be discovered to our ideal location close to Harvard, MIT, and Tufts, there’s something truly exciting on every block. There’s so much to see and do and eat that you might just want to extend your stay with us an extra night or two (or three…). We just know you’re going to love our home, and we can’t wait to help you explore.

The Squares

Camberville has several named Squares, almost none of them with an actual town square. The three closest to us are Union, Porter, and Harvard Squares. Harvard is the largest and most famous due to the University. Union and Porter are the closest and have much to offer, each with a local neighborhood feel. Just a few blocks farther sit Davis, Inman, Central Square, and Kendall Squares. Each square has its own personality with plenty of food, drink, art, music, entertainment, and shopping to be discovered. Not to mention sitting in the heart of Cambridge’s lab & life science communities. So dive in and start exploring!

The Universities

A true hub of higher learning, our Somerville location is conveniently nestled between Medford and Cambridge. Harvard University, Lesley University, and MIT all call Cambridge home to our south while Tufts University is just north of us in Medford. Looking to visit one or all of these great institutions? You’ve found the perfect jumping off point!

Getting Around

Walk, pedal, ride, or drive. Somerville and Cambridge are some of the most densely populated cities in America. With that comes a variety of ways to get from here to there, right within reach of our doors. Porter, Union, and Harvard Squares are all well within walking distance. Bring your bike helmet? Our neighborhood is incredibly bike friendly with publicly rentable Bluebikes parked right next to us and dedicated bikes lanes throughout the area. Headed a bit farther? Take our subway system, the T! A brand new Green line stop is just down the road from us in Union Square, with connections to Boston as well as neighboring Medford and Cambridge. Drive in? We have you covered, quite literally, in our underground parking garage right on property, complete with EV charging stations on-site.
