BOW Market

Just a short walk from the Cambria is an oasis of coffee shops, local eateries, and small businesses. Located in Union Square, Bow Market is home to over 30 stores and endless possibilities for eating, drinking, shopping, and many laughs along the way. Bow Market, known as the “place of places”, is solely run by individuals with individuals lives and individual hours. Everyday from 8:00am to midnight there’s something to see or do as shop owners come and go.

Created by Zach Baum and Matt Boyes-Watson, their vision was to take small business owners and give them an opportunity to thrive, uplifting one another, and highlighting the people who make Somerville what it is . Inspired by the souks of Marrakech, Bow Market transformed a vacant garage into a vibrant public courtyard surrounded by small, owner-operated businesses.

Bow not only features a variety of unique shops and stores, but will also bring you along a culinary journey. From sweet sips of coffees and boba, to Vietnamese pho, Mediterranean stuffed grape leaves, trios of tacos, and subs big enough for two, you wont be leaving here hungry that’s for sure! It is the perfect way to spend an afternoon with the family or stroll through solo, Bow Market will always bring smiles to faces, and leave you a little more full than when you arrived.
